Chandni Machines began implementing an aluminium-ingot manufacturing project at a leased 22,000 sq ft facility at Kuvada GIDC in Rajkot, Gujarat. It had placed and paid for machinery and equipment orders worth about ₹1.5 crore, with trial production targeted for September 20 and commercial production from October 1, subject to approvals and commissioning. Once stabilised, the facility was expected to produce about 300 tonnes a month, generating estimated monthly revenue of ₹9.45 crore and net profit of ₹50 lakh.
