Deccan Gold Mines has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 51% stake in Logrosan Minera S.L., a Spanish company holding exploration licences for tungsten, tin, rare earth elements and gold covering 7,732 hectares in the Logrosán-Madridejos region. The deal is valued at €1.76 million in cash, with an option to increase ownership to 75% through a further €1 million investment subject to independent valuation and milestone achievement. The acquisition marks Deccan Gold's entry into the critical minerals sector in Spain, diversifying its asset base beyond its existing gold projects in India and Kyrgyzstan. Logrosan's licences include the Antonio and Mari concessions, where a drilling programme is already under way and has intersected multiple scheelite (tungsten) veins. The transaction is expected to close by March 2027, subject to regulatory approvals in India, Dubai, Spain and the United Kingdom.
