MUMBAI, Feb 13 (Reuters) - India's SBI General Insurance SBIR.NS plans to raise 7 billion rupees ($84.37 million), including 3.50 billion rupees of a greenshoe option, through sale of subordinated bonds maturing in 10 years, two merchant bankers said on Tuesday.
In December, Reuters had reported about the company's plans to tap the bond market in January-March.
The insurer has invited coupon and commitment bids from bankers and investors on Feb. 20, and it does not have any outstanding bonds.

MUMBAI, Feb 13 (Reuters) - India's SBI General Insurance SBIR.NS plans to raise 7 billion rupees ($84.37 million), including 3.50 billion rupees of a greenshoe option, through sale of subordinated bonds maturing in 10 years, two merchant bankers said on Tuesday.
In December, Reuters had reported about the company's plans to tap the bond market in January-March.
The insurer has invited coupon and commitment bids from bankers and investors on Feb. 20, and it does not have any outstanding bonds.
