Highway Infrastructure received a letter of acceptance worth Rs 220.66 crore for a two-year mandate to collect user fees and operate toll plazas on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. The award from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority on 16 September comprised Rs 105.08 crore for the first year with a 10% escalation for the second year and included deployment of four patrol-cum-safety vehicles with personnel. The company's toll contracts have typically ranged between Rs 30 crore and Rs 80 crore, with the Rs 328.8 crore Kaza fee plaza as an outlier and recent awards including the Rs 80.17 crore Palayam plaza in August and the Rs 64.68 crore Mundka contract in January. Tollway collection accounted for about 77% of revenue in the year to March, when revenue stood at Rs 608 crore, and the order book stood at about Rs 778 crore in June. Total income was Rs 633.4 crore in FY26 with net profit of Rs 31.8 crore, while first-quarter total income was Rs 304.3 crore.
