The project carries an estimated gross development value of over ₹450 crore and marks the company's entry into the society redevelopment segment. The plan envisions a low-density residential development with a higher proportion of open and landscaped spaces compared with typical high-density projects in the micro-market. Managing director Mr. Parmeet Shah described the deal as the first step in a calibrated strategy to build a society redevelopment platform across select Mumbai areas, leveraging the Marathon brand while avoiding large upfront land costs. The subsidiary will be responsible for planning, approvals, design, construction and execution, with revenue realisation dependent on final approvals and market conditions. The company has a legacy of over 100 completed projects in the city and sees this as a scalable avenue for growth.
