Virat Industries Ltd. has decided to drop its legacy business of manufacturing oral and dental care products, such as toothbrushes and toothpaste, and replace it with a new set of main objects covering textiles and garments, investment and management services, and real estate and infrastructure development. The alteration, approved at a board meeting on June 24, 2026, will require shareholder approval. The company simultaneously adopted a new memorandum of association aligned with the Companies Act, 2013. As a consequence of the object clause change, the board also withdrew a previously approved proposal to rename the company to 'Brham Well-being & Lifestyle Corporation Limited', and said it was evaluating a new name more suited to the revised business activities.
