BCL Industries has commissioned a 150 kilolitre per day (KLPD) brownfield ethanol distillery at its Bathinda plant, taking total capacity at the site to 550 KLPD. The expansion is dedicated to ethanol production, aligning with India's bio-fuel blending targets. Managing Director Rajinder Mittal said the commissioning reinforces BCL's position as one of the largest grain-based distilleries in the country.

BCL Industries said its managing director will hold in-person meetings with a group of institutional investors in Mumbai on June 10, 2026. The investors include Abakkus Asset Manager, SageOne Investment Managers, Alchemy Capital Management, Roha Asset Managers and Ambit Capital.
