Everest Industries reported a standalone net profit of ₹107.72 crore for the June 2026 quarter, lifted by a one-time gain of ₹96.15 crore from the sale of its Podanur property. The property had been classified as an asset held for sale in the March 2026 balance sheet. Revenue from operations fell 14% year-on-year to ₹418.70 crore, but operating profit before exceptional items swung to a ₹37.11 crore gain compared with a ₹34.45 crore loss in the preceding March quarter. The consolidated net profit stood at ₹102.09 crore, with the property sale gain also flowing through the group results.

Everest Industries said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Everest Buildpro Private Limited (EBPL), has abandoned plans to set up a ₹138 crore Fibre Cement Boards plant at Matia, Goalpara, Assam. The board of EBPL reassessed the investment plan at a meeting on July 3, 2026, and decided to withdraw the entire capital expenditure and surrender the land allocated by Assam Industrial Development Corporation. EBPL had already invested ₹10.90 crore in the land under the plan that was originally approved by the board in February 2025. The company stated the cancellation will not adversely affect financials.
