Go Fashion (India) Ltd promoter Rahul Saraogi released a pledge on 46.81 lakh equity shares, according to a regulatory filing on June 23. The shares were earlier encumbered in favour of lenders Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndusInd Bank through trustee Catalyst Trusteeship. With the release, total promoter encumbered shares fell from 68.86 lakh to 22.05 lakh, bringing the pledge ratio down to 4.19% of the company’s share capital. The release covers the bulk of Saraogi’s pledged holdings and comes without any prior announcement. Go Fashion’s promoters collectively hold 55.44% of the company, and the reduction in leveraged holdings removes a key overhang for the stock.
