Hariom Pipe Industries announced on July 13 that the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) has suspended the closure directions issued in April 2026 against its Perundurai unit and restored power supply with immediate effect. The unit, located in the SIPCOT Industrial Growth Centre in Erode district, had been temporarily shut following disconnection of power due to environmental compliance issues. The suspension remains in force until the next renewal on March 31, 2027, subject to continued compliance with statutory conditions. The company said it is taking steps to recommence operations and remains committed to meeting all environmental requirements. It did not quantify the financial impact of the shutdown or the resumption.
