ITI Limited has received a work order worth ₹856.39 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to expand 4G mobile network infrastructure in West India, the state-run telecom equipment maker said on 16 July 2026. The turnkey contract covers planning, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 7,613 4G sites across Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and the Mumbai LSA. ITI, working with consortium partner Tata Consultancy Services, had earlier completed a larger ₹2,640-crore Phase IX.2 order for 23,633 sites in the same zone. The new expansion work, which includes saturation sites funded under the DBN scheme, deepens the company’s role in India’s indigenous 4G rollout.
