Mangalam Global Enterprise Limited's board on June 26 redesignated Chandragupt Prakash Mangal from Managing Director to Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, effective immediately, the company said in an exchange filing. Chandragupt, the younger son of Chairman Vipin Prakash Mangal and brother of Managing Director Chanakya Prakash Mangal, will now serve as a non-executive board member liable to retire by rotation. The board also approved an enabling resolution for the conversion of outstanding secured and unsecured loans into equity, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, fixed July 17 as the record date for a final dividend of one paisa per share, and scheduled its 16th annual general meeting for July 27.
