Oriana Power's board approved a corporate guarantee covering 74% of a Rs 460 crore working capital facility to be availed by its subsidiary Oriana Usolar Joint Venture from State Bank of India, subject to shareholder approval. The facility supported development of a 234 MW (AC) grid-tied floating solar plant on the DVC Maithon Dam reservoir in Jharkhand under an EPC contract awarded by Damodar Valley Corporation. The guarantee remained valid for the tenure of the facility, initially 12 months and renewable yearly, and the facility was repayable on demand. Corporate guarantees to subsidiaries and associates stood at Rs 163.78 crore in FY24, up from Rs 74.37 crore a year earlier. The company earned revenue of Rs 382.87 crore in FY24 with an EBITDA margin of 21.6% and carried a debt-equity ratio of 1.27 with a CRISIL BBB- stable rating.

Oriana Power's board approved an investment of up to ₹65 crore in Oriana Usolar Joint Venture Private Limited, its 74%-owned subsidiary engaged in EPC services. The cash consideration was to be paid in one or more tranches within 60 days, with the company's percentage shareholding to remain unchanged at 74%. The venture was incorporated in December 2025 and reported nil turnover in 2025-26. Oriana Power operated as a solar EPC contractor, with EPC accounting for about 99% of revenue of ₹382.87 crore in the year to March 2024. It carried an order book of more than ₹2,500 crore in June 2025 and reported a debt-to-equity ratio of 1.27 at the end of March 2024.

The contracts were valued at ₹94.51 crore including GST and were to be executed within six months of the awards. Oriana Power received a ₹214.80 crore EPC contract, including GST, from a leading cement industry player to develop 50 MW of solar projects in Rajasthan. The EPC work was to be completed within nine months, followed by a 10-year operation and maintenance period from commercial operation and handover.
