Fujiyama Power Systems approved an additional 1 GWh of lithium-battery capacity at Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, with an estimated investment of ₹5 crore. It also approved a 1 GWh tubular-battery facility at Hathras in Uttar Pradesh, costing about ₹20 crore and targeted for commissioning in Q3 FY27. The Ratlam addition was targeted for Q2 FY27 and would take planned lithium capacity there to about 3.5 GWh alongside the earlier 2 GWh expansion. The Hathras project was intended to replace 1.3 GWh of tubular-battery capacity damaged in the May fire at Bawal, while the company had guided to roughly ₹500 crore of incremental FY27 capex.
